A-10 Media Day Photo Gallery

Fordham University junior forward Samantha Clark (Neptune, N.J.) was named Third Team Preseason All-Atlantic 10 at the conference's annual Media Day, held at the Downtown Richmond Marriott on Tuesday. The awards and poll were chosen by a panel of the league's head coaches.
 
Clark started all 33 games last season, as the Rams captured their first Atlantic 10 crown and second NCAA Tournament bid.   She improved on her freshmen numbers, averaging a personal-best 9.1 points per game, while shooting a career-high 47.3% from the field.  She also continued to add to her repertoire, shooting 32% from three-point range, connecting on 34 tries from long distance.  Clark also averaged 5.1 rebounds to go with 48 assists, 23 steals, and a team-high 26 blocked shots. 
 
In the preseason coaches' poll, the defending champion Fordham Rams were picked 5^th out of 14 teams, behind Dayton, George Washington, Saint Joseph's, and St. Bonaventure.  The remaining order of finish was Richmond, Duquesne, La Salle, Saint Louis, VCU, George Mason, Davidson, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
 
The Rams open the season on Friday, November 14, as they host the Iona College in the Rose Hill Gym at 11:30 AM.
