Atlantic 10 Release

BRONX, N.Y. - The Atlantic 10 announced its women's basketball scheduling pairings for the 2014 conference season this morning, a league slate that will feature 16 games for the first time since the 2005-2006 campaign.

Each team will have home-and-home series with four conference opponents, with four additional games coming on the road and four more taking place on its home floor.

For Stephanie Gaitley's Rams, these two-game, home-away engagements will come against Duquesne, UMass, Richmond and Saint Louis.

The friendly confines of the Rose Hill Gym will also see contests between the Rams and La Salle, Rhode Island, George Washington and A-10 newcomer George Mason.

On the road, Fordham will serve as the visitor for contests at VCU, Dayton, St. Bonaventure and 2013 A-10 Champs Saint Joseph's.

The exact dates and times of these contests will be released at a later date.

The 16 game conference season will commence at the beginning of January and run through early March.

While the women's basketball championship game will once again take place at the Barclays Center in conjunction with the men's basketball tournament, the site of the opening rounds has yet to be determined.
