Bronx, N.Y. - Atlantic 10 Release

The Fordham University men's team learned its 2013-2014 Atlantic 10 pairings from the league office today as the conference welcomes George Mason University to the league lineup this winter.

The Fordham men's schedule will consist of 16 games, eight home and eight away, with the Rams facing four opponents in a home-and-home series. Head coach Tom Pecora's squad will face George Washington, Richmond, Rhode Island and VCU twice during the 2013-2014 season.

In addition to the home games with George Washington, Richmond, Rhode Island and VCU, the Rams will host newcomer George Mason along with Dayton, La Salle and St. Bonaventure.

Besides the two trips to Virginia (Richmond and VCU) and the return trips to George Washington and Rhode Island, the Fordham men will also play at Duquesne, Massachusetts, Saint Joseph's and Saint Louis.

Conference play will begin in early January and conclude the weekend prior to the 2014 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship, which will be played March 13-16, at Barclays Center. For the first time since 2005, every Atlantic 10 team will advance to the championship in Brooklyn.
