May 14, 2013 - Bronx, N.Y. - As the 2012-2013 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 79th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 1 to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year.

Among those honored was junior Nathaniel Bekoe (Accra, Ghana/Hotchkiss School (Conn.)) who was named the 2012 Men's Soccer MVP.

Bekoe continued his career as one of the top midfielder's in the Atlantic 10 this past fall. He was selected to the Hermann Preseason Watch List prior to the season and earned NSCAA All-Region honors for the second time in his career, helping lead one of the stingiest defenses in the Atlantic 10, allowing less than a goal per game.
