Bronx, N.Y. (December 6, 2013) - The Fordham University men's basketball squad continues the 2013-14 season as they travel into Manhattan to face the St. John's University Red Storm in Madison Square Garden on Saturday afternoon, December 7, at 1:30 p.m. as part of the 2013 MSG Holiday Festival
(please note that game will start 20 minutes following the La Salle-Stony Brook game which starts at 11:00 a.m.)

Fordham enters the game with a 4-2 record after a 79-48 win over Furman University in the Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday. St. John's enters the game with a 5-2 record after defeating Georgia Tech, 69-58, at the Barclays Center last Saturday.
The Rams will be led into the game by the top scoring backcourt in the NCAA Division I, senior guard
Branden Frazier, a preseason Third Team All-Atlantic 10 pick, and freshman guard
Jon Severe, a product of Christ the King High School. Severe is averaging an Atlantic 10-best 23.2 ppg while Frazier is right behind him, averaging 18.8 ppg and has two double-doubles year, the most recent a 24-point, 11-rebound game in a win over Lehigh.
Over his three-year career, Frazier has netted 1,190 points, good for 19
th on the Fordham all-time scoring list.
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 85th meeting between Fordham and St. John's on the hardwood with the Red Storm lead the all-time series, which started in 1909, 63-21.
