The winners of seven in a row, the Fordham Rams are looking to enter the Christmas Break on a winning note, traveling to Riverdale on Saturday night for a cross-borough showdown against Manhattan.

SERIES HISTORY: The 45th edition of The Battle of the Bronx will mark the latest chapter in the most frequently-played rivalry in Fordham women's basketball history.  The Rams have faced off against the Jaspers more than any other opponent in school history, entering Saturday's game with an all-time record of 20-24 against their rivals from Riverdale.
The Rams have taken the last two contests played between the teams, but the Jaspers are 16-5 in games played on their home court.

SCOUTING MANHATTAN:  While the Rams are enjoying the good fortune of a seven-game wining streak, their opponents come into Saturday's game on the heels of a seven-game skid, having just lost by 21 to VCU on Wednesday.
Defensively, the Jaspers are struggling to keep opposing teams off the score sheet, allowing over 72 points per game.  In addition, the Jaspers have been outrebounded by over ten boards per game, 339th in the nation out of 343 teams.
Individually, two Jaspers are averaging over ten points per game.    Nicole Isaacs leads Manhattan with 10.9 points per contest, while Monica Roeder is right behind her with 10.5 per outing.
