Fordham Game Notes
The winners of seven in a row, the Fordham Rams are looking to enter the Christmas Break on a winning note, traveling to Riverdale on Saturday night for a cross-borough showdown against Manhattan.
SERIES HISTORY: The 45th edition of The Battle of the Bronx will mark the latest chapter in the most frequently-played rivalry in Fordham women's basketball history. Â The Rams have faced off against the Jaspers more than any other opponent in school history, entering Saturday's game with an all-time record of 20-24 against their rivals from Riverdale.
The Rams have taken the last two contests played between the teams, but the Jaspers are 16-5 in games played on their home court.

SCOUTING MANHATTAN: Â While the Rams are enjoying the good fortune of a seven-game wining streak, their opponents come into Saturday's game on the heels of a seven-game skid, having just lost by 21 to VCU on Wednesday.
Defensively, the Jaspers are struggling to keep opposing teams off the score sheet, allowing over 72 points per game. Â In addition, the Jaspers have been outrebounded by over ten boards per game, 339th in the nation out of 343 teams.
Individually, two Jaspers are averaging over ten points per game. Â Â Nicole Isaacs leads Manhattan with 10.9 points per contest, while Monica Roeder is right behind her with 10.5 per outing.
