Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham University's freshman center/forward Stacey Price (Silver Spring, MD/Springbrook) was named Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending Jan. 13th. Price shares the honor with George Washington's Anna Montanana.

This is the second straight week Montanana has shared the weekly honor with a Fordham player. The Rams' Kyshawn Ruff did so last week.

Price earns her first Rookie of the Week honor after averaging 8.5 ppg and 5.5 rpg in two Atlantic 10 games this week. Her main effort came against Xavier on Friday night, where she scored a career-high 17 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field, while also having a game-high nine rebounds. After hearing about the honor, Price continued her strong play with a career-high 12 rebounds, three blocks, and six points on Sunday against Dayton.

Through 15 games this season, Price averages 3.2 ppg, 4.8 rpg, and 1.1 blocks per game.

Fordham is currently 3-12 this season, 1-3 in the Atlantic 10 with a home matchup against the Saint Joseph's University on Wednesday, January 16th at 7:00 PM.
