At the 44^th Annual Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University, Slattery set the school record in the 8K cross country run in a time of 24:08.  He finished 27th overall individually, while the men's team placed 28th out of 40 teams.  He was later named the Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week.
