Murphy had the Rams' top pitching performance of the weekend, despite the Rams coming up short in a 2-1 extra-inning loss to Canisius on Sunday. He threw a career-best 9.1 innings, allowing just one earned run on four hits, while striking out a career-high 11 batters. His previous bests were a seven-inning outing against URI, where he struck out eight batters.
