Former women's tennis player Amy Simidian begins her second season on the Fordham women's tennis coaching staff.
The recent Fordham graduate played two seasons at Fordham, earning First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors in each of those seasons (2012 & 2013). She compiled 33 singles victories and 30 wins in doubles play over her two seasons at Rose Hill.
Prior to Fordham, Simidian played two seasons at Penn State University seeded primarily as their #2 singles player and one of their top doubles players. She totaled 26 singles wins in two seasons and 16 in doubles action. In high school, she played at Henry P. Becton Regional, where she was a five-star recruit, who ranked 34th on Tennisrecruiting.net, and won the New Jersey State Singles Championship in 2008.
Simidian received her degree in Communications & Media Studies in 2014, and was a two-year member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
