Stephen D’Alessandro was named the Fordham Intramural and Club Sport Manager in September of 2021. He will be responsible for all facets of the school’s intramural and club sport programs.
D’Alessandro joined the Rams after serving as an Assistant Recreation Director for the town of Stanford Recreation Department in Stanford, N.Y. in 2021. He was charged with promoting the organization of recreation activities and conferring with policy-making body on matters relating to the size and scope of recreation programs. D’Alessandro also assisted in planning for improving existing recreation areas and
Programs.
Prior to his stint in Stanford, D’Alessandro was the Graduate Assistant for Intramural Sports at SUNY Cortland. His duties included scheduling all Intramural Sports activities and maintaining records of league standings and participation rates. He also interviewed, hired, trained, scheduled, supervised and evaluated a staff of 40 student employees and promoted and marketed all Intramural Sport events, which include overseeing all social media accounts associated with the Intramural Sports and Sport Club programs.
Prior to his time in Cortland, he spent two years as an official and one year as a supervisor in the intramural sports program. D’Alessandro completed his undergraduate degree at SUNY Cortland in 2019 in Sport Management and received his master’s degree in Sport Management in 2021.
