John Brutzman is a graduate student at Fordham University studying Social Work with an emphasis on crisis and resilience. Originally from New Jersey, John served 6 Years in the Army as an Infantryman with the 86th IBCT with one deployment to the Middle East. John has worked with Service Members, Veterans, Students with disabilities, and is looking forward to working with Athletes. John believes that student athletes face unique challenges and he hopes to bring a positive impact to Fordham Athletics and to the Fordham Community.

In his free time he enjoys Boxing, Chess, College Football 25/Madden, exploring New York City and Northern New Jersey, and spending time with friends and family.
