Jerry Hubshman, Jr., former Assistant Director of Athletics for Athletic Development at Hofstra, was named Senior Director of Athletics Development/Senior Associate Athletic Director at Fordham University in October of 2024.
 
Hubshman arrived at Fordham after spending five years at Hofstra University leading the Pride's efforts in athletics fundraising, corporate partnerships, ticketing, and marketing. As a senior staffer for Hofstra Athletics, he also had sport supervision duties and served as a leadership coach for a select group of Hofstra student-athletes.
 
Specific to fundraising, under Hubshman’s direction Hofstra Athletics saw an increase in philanthropic revenue and in the number of unique donors.
 
Prior to Hofstra, Hubshman worked for Long Island University Athletics on the advancement team and for the Stony Brook Athletics external relations unit.
 
Hubshman earned both his B.S. and M.A. degrees from Stony Brook while competing as a football student-athlete. During his final season with the Seawolves he was both team captain and the class president of the School of Health Professions. He currently resides on Long Island with his wife, Beth, and their daughter, Maddox.
