Danae Ohresser-Joumard, a two-time French national champion in women's 2x, was named an assistant coach at Fordham in October of 2021.
Ohresser-Joumard, a five-year member of the Fordham crew, wrapped up her collegiate career in 2020-2021 earning Academic All-Atlantic 10 honors. She is also a five-time time member of the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and a three-time CRCA Scholar-Athlete.
Ohresser-Joumard served as stroke seat in the varsity eight boat for the Rams that advanced the championship finals at the Atlantic 10 Championships (2018, 2019, and 2020). He earned first team All-Atlantic 10 honors in 2018.
While an undergraduate at Fordham, Ohresser-Joumard, a native of Manosque, France, won gold medals in the double skulls at the 2017 and 2018 French National Championships. She also trained with the U.S. National team ahead of the 2018 World Championship in Shanghai, China.
Ohresser-Joumard is currently completing a Master’s degree in International Political Economy and Development after earning an undergraduate degree in International Political Economy with a minor in Economics.
