Biography

1998:  Named First Team All-Atlantic 10 and Atlantic 10 Tournament MVP...Went 5-for-10 with a pair of runs in the A-10 championship...Appeared in 44 games last year, starting all 44 at third base…Led team with a .375 (63-168) batting average, sixth best in the Atlantic 10, with 14 doubles, nine home runs and 40 RBI…Led team in hits, home runs, RBI and runs scored (40)…Eighth in the A-10 in home runs (0.21/game) and eighth in doubles (0.33/game)…Successful in all three stolen base attempts on the year…Hit .344 (22-64) in A-10 games last year with six doubles, three home runs and 14 RBI…On base percentage (.460) led the team…Recorded a team-high 22 multiple-hit games, including six three-hit games and one four-hit game…Recorded a team-best 10 multiple-RBI games, including five three-RBI games and a four-RBI game….Hit .328 (19-58) with men in scoring position…Reached base 55.9% (19-34) of the time when leading off an inning…Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week once…Started the year off right, going four-for-five with two home runs and four RBI in Fordham win over St. John’s…Went five-for-ten with four RBI in the St. Bonaventure series…Went six-for-eleven with two home runs and four RBI in the St. Joseph’s series…Hit safely in 35 of the 44 games on the year…Hit safely in 11 of his last 14 games.

1997:  Started all 53 games at third base for the Rams as a sophomore…Hit .332 (65-196), fifth best on the squad and 29th best in the Atlantic 10…Recorded 12 doubles, one triple, nine home runs and 58 RBI…His 58 RBI was second best on the team…Stole eight bases in eleven attempts…Led team with 45 walks…On base percentage of .460 was fourth best on team…Recorded 22 multiple-hit games, third best on the team, including four three-hit games and one four-hit game…Recorded 17 multiple-RBI games, second best on team, including six three-RBI games…Drove in three runs in the Rams win over C.W. Post (4/8) and the next day in the win over Wagner (4/9).

1996:  Named All-American his freshman season...Also tabbed as Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year in 1996...Appeared in 43 games after returning from an ankle injury...Led the team in batting average with .410…Had ten doubles, four home runs and 28 RBI...Ranked second among freshmen in the nation in hitting…Belted a home run in his first game of the season against Pittsburgh...Went 3-for-5 with a double against South Florida...Was 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI against UMBC...Went 3-for-5 with three RBI and a stolen base against New Hampshire…Went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI in 8-0 win over Manhattan ...Drove in all four Fordham runs against UMass ...Homered and drove in two runs in 12-8 win over Temple.

Before Fordham:
  A graduate of Chaminade High School where he lettered in baseball …Named All-League his junior and senior season …League MVP as a senior.
