Former Louisville All-American and U.S. National Team member Jennifer Hoffman joined the Rams' coaching staff in March 2008.

"I'm very excited to have someone with Jennifer's playing experience in the gym helping to train our team. Sharing her experiences with Louisville, The National Team, and in Spain can only help our players to get better," said Volkert.

Hoffman comes to Rose Hill after an outstanding volleyball career that started at the University of Louisville, where she was a two-time All-American and led the nation in hitting percentage in 2005. She also ranked in the top ten in blocking in 2004 (4th) and 2005 (10th), and was a two-time All-Midwest Region Team selection, as well as earning All-NCAA Region honors twice. In addition to volleyball, she served as the president of Louisville's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the 2005-06 academic year.

On top of her play at Louisville, Hoffman was a two-year member of the U.S. National Team from 2004-05, competing in the 2004 Montreux Volley Maters Championship in Switzerland. She then moved on to play professionally in Spain for the 2006-07 season with CV Alicante 2000. After wrapping up her playing career, Hoffman began her coaching career at the high school and club level. She coached Union Volleyball Club in New Albany, Indiana, from 2007-08 as a 15's Elite Coach, helping guide the 15-1 team to the JVDA National Championship. For high school, she served as the varsity volleyball coach for DuPont Manual High School in Louisville, Kentucky, for the 2008 season.

Hoffman graduated from Louisville in May 2006 with a degree in Marketing. Hoffman can also be seen on national television each week, as she and her sister, LaKisha, are competitor's on season 14 of CBS' Amazing Race.
