Andy Mueller joined the Fordham volleyball staff in March of 2014.
"We are excited to add Andy to our coaching staff," said Ullery.  "His energy and love for the game is contagious and he brings an abundance of knowledge and experience. He will be a great asset to our program."

Mueller brings a wealth of volleyball experience to Rose Hill, having most recently served as an assistant coach and camp director at Columbia University for two seasons.   In charge of Columbia's middle blockers and right side players, Mueller helped lead the Lions to a 13-9 campaign in 2012.  Under Mueller's tutelage, middle blocker Heather Braunagel earned First Team All-Ivy honors that season.

Prior to his time in Morningside Heights, Mueller put in three years as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Columbia College in Missouri, during which the Cougars recorded an overall record 119-11.  With Mueller on the bench, the Cougars reached the NAIA National Championship Game in 2010 before returning to the NAIA Final Four in 2011.  Mueller coached several NAIA All-Americans at Columbia College, including the NAIA National Player of the Year in 2010.

As a player, Mueller earned Missouri State High School Activities Association First Team All-Conference honors in 2005.  A four-year standout at Francis Howell Central, Mueller excelled at the 5A level and also gained collegiate experience playing at Lindenwood University in 2006.

The head coach of the New York City Juniors 17 National Club Team, Mueller graduated from Columbia College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in history.
