Before Fordham: A graduate of Academy of Our Lady of Peace in San Diego, California where she lettered in cross country and track...set the school record in the 4x1 mile relay in 2006...a Wendy's Heisman Trophy Nominee in 2006...served as cross country captain in 2006 and 2007 and track team captain in 2007...2004 cross country Rookie of the Year...helped cross country squad to the 2006 CIF Division 3 championship...cross country team qualified for state championships from 2004-06...named a Union Tribune Scholar Athlete from 2004-07...member of the National Hispanic Honor Society...placed second in regional National Spanish Exam.
