Former women's tennis standout Sarah Ali enters her first season as an assistant coach.
Ali played for the Rams from 2011-15 and capped her four-year career by earning First Team Atlantic 10 honors for the second consecutive year and the team’s most valuable player for a third straight time. She posted 61 career victories in singles play and 72 in doubles, primarily playing at #2 singles and #1 doubles. Ali also helped Fordham to its first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship semifinal appearance in 2015.

The Pasadena, Calif. native was also a member of the Veteran Leadership Academy and the 360 Leadership Academy. She was selected by Liguori to represent Fordham women's tennis in both. Since graduating in May with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and media studies, Ali currently works for the Cornelia Connelly Center, a non-profit organization where she teaches the 4th grade.
