Adrienne Markison, a former collegiate standout player at Quinnipiac University, was named volunteer assistant tennis coach at Fordham in September of 2012.
A 2011 Quinnipiac graduate, Markison was a four-year letter winner with the Bobcats' women's tennis team. As a senior in 2010-11, she was named team captain and team MVP after she led Quinnipiac to the NEC Conference Championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament. As a sophomore, Markison won 28 matches, 14 each in singles and doubles while in her junior year, she earned team MVP honors after winning 34 matches, 17 apiece in both singles and doubles competition, while also being named First Team All-Northeast Conference (NEC) with a 5-0 record in league play. As a freshman, Markison earned NEC Rookie of the Year accolades, as well First-Team All-NEC recognition at both No. 1 doubles and No. 3 singles.
A native of Princeton, New Jersey, Markison is currently pursuing a master's degree in The History of Modern and Contemporary Art from Christie's Education, New York.
