Biography
2022: Did not appear in any matches for the Rams in the fall... Was able to be a part of the Haitian National Team, as they qualified for the 2023 Women's World Cup... Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2021: Missed the opening part of the season, recovering from injury... Still managed to appear in 11 games, making 10 starts... Netted her first collegiate goal in the season finale against George Mason, which turned out to be the game-winning goal (10/24)... Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2020-21: Appeared in six matches in the spring season, making three starts... Registered two shots... Awarded the Ignatian Social Justice/DEI Award as a part of the annual Block F Awards, recognizing those who went above and beyond in doing the difficult work of bringing diversity, equity, and inclusion issue to the forefront in the Athletic Department... Member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2019: Split time between Fordham and the Haitian National Team... Named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team... Appeared in 14 games for Fordham, starting 13... Recorded four shots... Competed in the Caribbean CONCACAF qualifiers in October and helped Haiti win Group C and advance to the CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying... Assisted on two goals in a 10-0 win over Suriname, 10-0... Recalled to the National Team in January for the Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament... Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Before Fordham: Member of the Haitian National Team for the five seasons... Part of the U20 CONCACAF team in 2018 that sent Haiti to its first U20 World Cup, with wins over Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica, and Canada... Graduated from Paramus Catholic in New Jersey... Previously attended Archbishop Spalding High School in Maryland and participated on the varsity team during her first two years... Received Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland All-Conference awards in both seasons... Played club soccer for Bethesda and then moved onto New York City FC Development Academy... Has strong family ties to soccer with her brother, Derrick Jr., a former men's soccer player for Virginia and current midfielder for the New York Red Bulls... He is also a member of the Haitian National Team... Her father, Derrick Sr., played college soccer at VCU, internationally for the senior Haiti National Team, and professionally for Richmond Kickers and Long Island Rough Riders.
