Before Fordham: Began rowing her sophomore year at San Diego Rowing Club under the direction of US Olympian Susan Francia... In 2014, was part of the crew that placed eighth in the Women's Youth 4+ at Head of the Charles... Moved her senior year to Jacksonville, Florida, and began rowing with her high school team, the Episcopal School of Jacksonville... Was a member of the Varsity 4+ that placed third at the 2016 FSRA Sweep Championships... As a senior, was named captain of her team in Florida and later won MVP of the 2015-2016 season... Also received the 2016 Hammer Award for having the fastest 2k on the team.
