Morgan Mowins enters her first year on the Fordham Rowing coaching staff as the Freshman/Novice Coach.
Mowins has been a competitive rower for the past eight years. The first four years of her rowing career were with Fayetteville-Manlius High School and the Syracuse Chargers Rowing Club. She continued to race with the Syracuse Chargers for two years after high school.
Mowins' collegiate rowing career was at Rochester Institute of Technology where she rowed for all four year. In her senior year at R.I.T Morgan was captain of the Women’s varsity team and earned a bronze medal at the Aberdeen Dad Vail Championship. While at R.I.T., Morgan also won the New York State Championships as well as Liberty League Championships.
Mowins graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts majoring in Interior Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She currently lives in Manhattan and in addition to her position at Fordham also assists with the Varsity Boy’s Program at Row New York.
