Before Fordham: Ran for the varsity cross country and track team throughout her career at Note Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School... Was a three-year captain of the cross country team and a two-year captain of the track team... Two-time selection to the All-State cross country team (2002 and 2003)... Was a four-time First Team Big Ten All-Star in cross country... Earned First Team Big Ten All-Star honor in track in the 1500m and 3000m races... Set the school record for the cross country course at Saratoga State Park... Member of the National Honors Society... Recipient of the U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award as well as the Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons Brother Murphy Award for academic and athletic excellence.
