Made a mark in his first year in the defensive backfield in 2013, appearing in 13 games… also a valuable member of the Fordham special teams unit… moved over to the defensive backfield in 2013 after playing at wide receiver… a three-sport athlete in high school… 2010 100m state record holder.

2013: Appeared in 13 games as a junior, both in the defensive backfield and on special teams… made four solo tackles on the year… also had one forced fumble… made a solo stop and forced a fumble in the Villanova game.

2012: Did not see action as a sophomore.

2011: Appeared in all eleven games as a freshman for the Rams… caught two passes for six yards… also made six tackles on special teams… had a five-yard reception at Colgate and a one-yard catch in the win over Columbia… made two tackles at Lafayette and two more in the season finale with Holy Cross.

Before Fordham: A graduate of Richland High School in Richland, Texas, where he lettered in football, basketball and track… a two-time All-District selection at wide receiver in football… named football team MVP in 2011… 2010 state record holder in the 100m dash… a three-time regional qualifier with the track team… a two-time All-District champion in the long jump and triple jump... school record holder in the long jump, triple jump and 100m… a two-time Texas Relays qualifier… served as a team captain.. named most athletic male at Richland.

Personal: Son of Ciatta and J. Lourenzo Smith… has two older sisters (Estelle and Michelle), two older brothers (Eugene and Decontie) and a younger sister (Faith)… a Sociology major.
