In her 17th season as an assistant coach for the Men and Women's squads is Marisa Galloway, a former high jumper for the Rams who also participated in the sprints and relay teams over her career.
In 2017-18, Thomas Slattery ran the fastest five mile cross country time in school history en route to a win at the Metropolitan Championship, while Ryan Kutch placed second. Slattery and Kutch also earned First Team-All-10 honors and All-East honors at the IC4A Championship, while Angelina Grebe and Sydney Snow earned All-East honors at the ECAC Championship. In the indoor season, Ryan Riviere set the school record in the pole vault and Brian Cook set the school record in the 1,000 meters, and in the outdoor season, Laurel Fisher set the school record in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, while the women's 4x100 and 4x200 relays also set school records.
During the 2016-17 campaign, the women's cross country team won the Metropolitan Championship, while the men were fourth and the men's cross country team finished second at the IC4A Championship. Individually, Brian Cook won the cross country Metropolitan Championship and Cook and junior Thomas Slattery were named Atlantic 10 All-Conference finishing 10th and 11th, respectively, at the Atlantic 10 Championship. In the outdoor season, Gabriella Gavalas finished fifth in the triple jump at the Metropolitan Championship, while Alina Kwiatkowski took ninth. Gavalas also placed 11th in the long jump. The men's 4x800 and the women's 4x400 relays were also outdoor Metropolitan Champions.
In 2015-16, the men's cross country won the Metropolitan Championship for the fifth time in eight years, while the women were second. Individually, freshman Sean Phillips was selected as the Atlantic 10's Most Outstanding Rookie Performer for indoor track after winning the 1,000 meters, while the women's indoor 4x800 relay captured their event for First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors. In outdoor track, Jonathan Annelli was the conference champion in the 3,000 meter steeplechase event with Brian Cook finishing second in the same event, as both earned All-Atlantic 10 honors.
In 2014-15, Fordham won both the men's Metropolitan and IC4A University Division Cross Country Championships, while the women's team took second at the Metropolitan Championship. The Rams also a number of indivdual accolades withTiti Fagade and Lester Taylor receiving All-Atlantic 10 honors, while the women's 4x800 relay won their event at the Atlantic 10 Championship in conference record time.
In 2008-09, Galloway helped Melissa Salerno earned Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors in both the 800m and 1500m at the outdoor championship while guiding the men's 4x800 relay ro Second Team All-Conference accolades during the indoor season.
In 2007-08, Salerno took home Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors in the 1000m while in 2006-07, the men's indoor 4x800 relay won the Atlantic 10 title.
While at Fordham as a senior, Galloway participated in the sprints and high jump. She opened the season by winning the high jump at the Rutgers Invitational, and then placed 12th in the high jump at the Colonial Relays. She also leaped 5' 2" at the Quaker Invitational, the sixth best jump in the Atlantic 10 in 2001. In the sprints, Galloway took third in the 400m at the Omeltchenko Invitational. Galloway capped her senior season in 2001 by placing third in the high jump at the Metropolitan Championships with a leap of 4' 10.5".
Indoors, Galloway registered a season-best jump of 5' 2.25" at the Jasper Invitational, which was the best jump for a Ram and the seventh best high jump in the Atlantic 10. She started the indoor season with a second place finish in the 400m and a third place finish in the high jump at the Ram Invitational and then took second in the high jump at the Fordham Invitational. Galloway also took third in the high jump at the Rutgers Invitational and closed out the indoor season with a fourth place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championships.
In addition to her coaching duties, Galloway has also served as a recruiter for the track and field and cross country programs.
