Before Fordham: Member of the varsity track and football teams at Masuk High School... Served as team captain for the outdoor track team... First Team All-State and All-New England in outdoor track as a senior, after setting the school record in the 4x100 relay... Also hold school records in the 4x200 and Sprint medley relays for indoor track... Three-time All-Conference selection (First Team - indoor & outdoor 2009; Second Team - indoor 2008)... Named Academic All-Conference in football, indoor track and outdoor track... Received the 2009 Award of Excellence for exemplary display of sportsmanship, ethics, and integrity... Member of the honor roll and the National Latin Honor Society.
