In his second season on the Fordham men’s tennis coach staff is assistant coach Frank Russo.

Prior to arriving at Fordham, Russo was the owner of New Level Sports/New Level Tennis in Darien, Connecticut where he coordinated the largest sports program in Darien, providing tennis lessons to kids ages 3-16 and adults ages 18-65.

Before his time in Darien, Russo was the Head Academy Pro at the Johnstone Tennis Academy in Purchase, N.Y. At Johnstone, he provided lessons to five of the top 25 juniors at the USTA Eastern Section level, recruited for the academy and traveled with players to tournaments. He also served as a tennis professional at Shippan Racquet Club in Stamford, Connecticut, The Ocean Club in Long Beach, N.Y., and Sportime in the Hamptons in East Quogue, N.Y.

Russo graduated from Iona College in 2003 after playing four seasons with the Gaels
