Deepak Sharma, a coach with five-plus years in coaching, skilled in building programs, and managing team relationships, joined the Fordham men’s tennis staff as a volunteer assistant coach in the spring of 2022.
Sharma also serves as head coach at Trinity School in Manhattan, where he designs and implements practice and fitness activities to maximize on court performance. He also works closely with the Athletic Director to ensure the team is prepared logistically, physically, mentally and emotionally for the season.
Besides his position at Trinity School, Sharma also serves as a tennis coach for the Adaptive Program at the Riverside Clay Tennis Association. He is responsible for designing, implementing, and executes drills for players with Autism and Multiple Sclerosis.
From 2014-2017, Sharma was a Partner Development Director at Acxiom, in New York.
A 1999 graduate of the University of Richmond, Sharma was a four-year scholarship player for the Spiders, serving as team captain as a senior.
