Before Fordham: A graduate of Paterson Catholic High School in Paterson, New Jersey...Averaged 6.7 ppg as a senior in 2008-09, leading the Cougars to a 26-5 record, a perfect 9-0 in the conference...Missed part of senior season with an injury...Paterson Catholic advanced to the championship game of the North Jersey, Non-Public B tournament...Averaged 15.0 ppg and 8.0 rpg as a junior, leading the Cougars to a 23-5 record and the Passaic County Championship...Paterson Catholic advanced to the Non-Public A semi-final game before falling to No. 1 nationally ranked St. Anthony, a team which was led by current Fordham sophomore Alberto Estwick...During the 2007-08 season, was named MVP of the Eddie Griffin Challenge, a contest which featured the top ten seniors in New Jersey against the top ten seniors from Philadelphia, by netting 23 points and adding eight rebounds in the game...Teamed with fellow Fordham freshman Chris Gaston to win the championship with the New Jersey Playaz team at the famed IS8 Fall Classic in 2008.
