Had 10 strikeouts in a win over Northern Illinois (3/16)... Threw a career-long 10 innings in a win at George Washington with eight strikeouts (3/24)... Allowed one run over eight innings in a win at St. Bonaventure (3/31)... Earned his fifth straight win against Duquesne, giving upon earned run over 8.1 innings (4/7)... 2006: Was the Rams’ top pitcher and co-MVP after leading the team in wins (6), innings pitched (86.1), strikeouts (84), and opponent batting average (.205), while also having a 4.17 ERA, good for fourth on the team… Was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 42^nd round of the MLB Draft… Three-time Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week, and was named Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week once… Recorded eight or more strikeouts in a game five times… Registered his first A-10 weekly award, after allowing just one run in seven innings with eight strikeouts in a win over New Orleans (2/24)… Recorded his second win of the season against Massachusetts, throwing eight shutout innings with eight strikeouts (3/25)… Had his second award winning performance in a win against Temple, where he recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts in seven innings of work, allowing only three hits (4/9)… Was also selected as Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week as well as to the College Baseball Foundation’s Honor Roll, following the Temple game… Allowed only two runs in seven innings to go with eight strikeouts in a win at Rhode Island (5/5)… Recorded his final weekly award after throwing seven scoreless innings with nine strikeouts in a win over Dayton (5/12)… Also saw time at the plate as an outfielder or designated hitter… Registered eight hits, including two home runs against Fairfield (4/12) and Richmond (4/14), as well as four RBI.
 
2005: Continued to see action as an outfielder and a starting pitcher... Closed out the season strong on the mound, posting four wins and a save in the final month of the season... Finished the year with a 6-5 record and a save in 20 appearances... Struck out 69 batters in 72.0 innings of work... Struck out five batters or more on seven occasions... Opened the year with a win, striking out five at Delaware State (2/20)... Did not allow a hit in five innings of relief, striking out six in a win over Winthrop (3/23)... Threw two scoreless innings for a save against Columbia (4/20)... Followed that game with his first 10-strikeout game and a win over Massachusetts (4/24)... Did not allow an earned run in seven innings of work in a win over Saint Joseph's (5/14)... At the plate, he hit .258 with a pair of doubles and four RBI... Had a double and three RBI at Old Dominion (3/13).
 
2004: Saw action as both a pitcher and an outfielder… Made a team-high 20 appearances on the mound for Fordham, going 2-5 with a save and a 4.30 earned run average… Finished second on the team with a .227 opponent batting average… Ended the year with 48 strikeouts in 44 innings pitched… Finished the year with a season-high eight strikeouts in the Rams’ Atlantic 10 Tournament loss to George Washington (5/27)… Picked up his first save by pitching a scoreless ninth inning at Radford (3/13)… Got his first career win after pitching 3.2 innings without allowing an earned run to go with a then-high six strikeouts at Dayton (3/27)… Received his second win after pitching four scoreless innings of relief against Rhode Island, allowing one hit and striking out four (5/9)… Had five strikeouts in three innings at James Madison (2/29)… Ended the season hitting .156 with four RBI in limited time at the plate… Had his first multi-RBI game with two RBI versus Pace (3/23)… Had his first multi-hit game versus Long Island, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a double and an RBI (5/4).
 
Before Fordham: Played two years of varsity baseball at Seton Hall Prep, and three year of varsity football... Was a First Team All-State selection in the Parochial Division and Second Team All-State with all groups included... Was the County Player of the Year as a senior, earning First Team All-County and First Team All-Conference... Member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
