Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week once… Recorded eight or more strikeouts in a game five times… Registered his first A-10 weekly award, after allowing just one run in seven innings with eight strikeouts in a win over New Orleans (2/24)… Recorded his second win of the season against Massachusetts, throwing eight shutout innings with eight strikeouts (3/25)… Had his second award winning performance in a win against Temple, where he recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts in seven innings of work, allowing only three hits (4/9)… Was also selected as

2005: Continued to see action as an outfielder and a starting pitcher... Closed out the season strong on the mound, posting four wins and a save in the final month of the season... Finished the year with a 6-5 record and a save in 20 appearances... Struck out 69 batters in 72.0 innings of work... Struck out five batters or more on seven occasions... Opened the year with a win, striking out five at Delaware State (2/20)... Did not allow a hit in five innings of relief, striking out six in a win over Winthrop (3/23)... 2004: Saw action as both a pitcher and an outfielder… Made a team-high 20 appearances on the mound for Fordham, going 2-5 with a save and a 4.30 earned run average… Finished second on the team with a .227 opponent batting average… Ended the year with 48 strikeouts in 44 innings pitched… Finished the year with a season-high eight strikeouts in the Rams’ Atlantic 10 Tournament loss to George Washington (5/27)… Picked up his first save by pitching a scoreless ninth inning at Radford (3/13)… Got his first career win after pitching 3.2 innings without allowing an earned run to go with a then-high six strikeouts at Dayton (3/27)… Received his second win after pitching four scoreless innings of relief against Rhode Island, allowing one hit and striking out four (5/9)… Had five strikeouts in three innings at James Madison (2/29)… Ended the season hitting .156 with four RBI in limited time at the plate… Had his first multi-RBI game with two RBI versus Pace (3/23)… Had his first multi-hit game versus Long Island, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a double and an RBI (5/4).

Before Fordham: Played two years of varsity baseball at Seton Hall Prep, and three year of varsity football... Was a First Team All-State selection in the Parochial Division and Second Team All-State with all groups included... Was the County Player of the Year as a senior, earning First Team All-County and First Team All-Conference... Member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
