2007-08: Outdoor: Registered the second fastest mile at Fordham (4:40.29)... Took second in the 800m at the St. John's Monday Night Meet #2 (2:03.85).

Before Fordham: Member of the track, cross country, and soccer teams at Catholic High School for Boys... Team captain for cross country... Named to the All-State 7A cross country team in 2006... Earned All-Conference honors twice for cross country, as well as All-Arkansas All-Star status once... Received Best Overall Performance award for cross country twice and Outstanding Middle Distance runner for track once... Received the 2007 Bishop J. Peter Sartain Award, given for athletic ability, leadership, and Christian living... Was also an All-Conference soccer player... Played club soccer for the Westside Capitals, helping them to the 2007 Boys U18 State Championship.
