2003: Made 17 appearances, starting seven games… Ended the year with a 1-5 record with a 6.80 ERA… Pitched 47.2 innings, allowing 77 hits, while striking out 32… Had his second career complete game, as he pitched seven innings, striking out four in a win at Columbia (4/23)… Went six innings without allowing an earned run in the Rams’ victory over Hofstra (3/26)… Went six strong innings, allowing just one earned run and striking out four against Iowa (3/19)… Pitched four innings of scoreless play versus UMass, as he struck out four (4/13).
 
2002: Made 18 appearances with one start on the year… Finished the season with a 1-3 record and an 8.79 ERA… Had 16 strikeouts and 33 walks in 28.2 innings pitched… Had six relief efforts of two innings or more… Pitched a season-high 4.1 innings, allowing three runs on five hits against the Univ. of the Pacific (3/12)… Struck out a season-high four batters and got the win in relief against St. Francis (3/28)… Pitched 2.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts against George Washington (4/7)… Went three innings without surrendering a hit versus Columbia (4/24).
 
2001: Named Freshman All-America… Made a team-high 24 appearances, mostly in relief… Also started three games and had a complete game… Finished with a team-best six wins and was second on the team in ERA (3.41) and strikeouts (37)… Was second in the Atlantic 10 in ERA and third in appearances… Had a .272 opponent batting average, 8th best in the conference… Allowed 62 hits and 37 runs in 58 innings of work, while picking up two saves… Earned his first collegiate win over Northern Iowa, after allowing only two hits in four relief innings (3/10)… Pitched a complete game with five strikeouts in a 4-0 loss to Dayton (4/7)… Went 6.1 innings with three strikeouts against Temple (4/13)… Picked up his first save after pitching 1.1 scoreless innings in a 9-8 win at Pace (4/26)… Got an A-10 victory over Xavier, pitching 2.1 innings in relief (4/29)… Got the save in an Atlantic 10 win over St. Bonaventure, striking out the final two batters of the game (5/6)... Named to Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for 2000-01.
 
Before Fordham: A graduate of St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, NY…An NSCHSAA All-League pick as a senior…Led team to the NSCHSAA Long Island league title in 1999 and 2000…Was 6-1 on the mound with 61 strikeouts in 49.2 innings…Also hit .352 with two home runs…NSCHSAA All-Academic Team all four years at St. Anthony’s… Played for coach John Newman in high school…Also played two years of football in high school…Member of the National Honor Society…Also a member of the St. Bonaventure Society (95% average or better) all four years at St. Anthony’s… Shares the Bayside season strikeout record with current major league pitcher Billy Koch.
