Biography

A two-year starter on the offensive line... served as the starting right tackle in 2011 after starting at left guard in 2010... helped the Fordham passing offense rank 41st in the NCAA FCS in 2011... big physical lineman who was thrown in the fire mid-season in 2009... filled in as a starter at left tackle for the final six games of 2009 when Adnan Vandyck was lost to a knee injury, protecting the blind-side of now Arizona Cardinal quarterback, John Skelton... helped the Fordham offense set a school record for total offense in a season in 2009 while leading the NCAA FCS in total yards per game (488.82).

2012: Appeared in two games as a senior.

2011: Appeared in nine games as a junior for the Rams, starting six at right tackle... helped the passing offense rank 41st in the NCAA FCS.

2010: Appeared in all eleven games for the Rams as a sophomore, starting ten... started all ten games at left guard... helped the offense average 176.0 rushing yards per game, second in the Patriot League and 31st best in the NCAA FCS... Fordham offense was also ranked second in overall offense in the Patriot League (383.5 yards/game)... offensive line also allowed just 16 sacks in eleven games, third best in the Patriot League.

2009: Appeared in eight games as a freshman, starting six at left tackle... a part of the offensive line that helped the Rams set the school record for total offense in a season, amassing 5,377 yards, eclipsing the former record of 4,995 yards set by the 2002 team... the Rams led the NCAA FCS in total offense (488.82 yards/game) and were second in passing offense (337.09 yards/game) and tied for second in first downs per game (23.64)... also protected quarterback John Skelton, who set single-season and career marks for most completions, most passing yards and most passing touchdowns.

Before Fordham: A graduate of Eastside Catholic High School in Bellevue, Washington, where he lettered in football for head coach Bill Marsh... attended Phillips Academy in 2008-09 where he played football for head coach Leon Modeste... First Team All-Metro League as a senior at Eastside Catholic... 2008 Mountain Division honors on both offensive line and defensive line... 2008 Mountain Division's co-lineman of the year... an All-State nominee... paved the way for the first 1,000 yard rusher in school history (Mike Bush)... father, Jim, played quarterback for Harvard and also worked as an assistant football coach at Fordham from 1985-1988.

Personal: Born February 21, 1990... son of Amy and Jim Kubacki... has an older sister (Elizabeth) and a younger sister (Sarah)... a Communications major.
