Biography

Will serve as a 2007 team captain...a leader of the Fordham linebacking corps...moved into the starting lineup at middle linebacker in 2006...sixth on the team in tackles last fall...became an important contributor at linebacker in 2005, appearing in every game, both at linebacker and on special teams...enjoyed a good 2006 spring, making four solo tackles and breaking up a pass in the 2006 Spring Game...stepped right in and contributed as a freshman in 2004, appearing in eight games. 2006: Appeared in all eleven games as a junior, starting ten games at middle linebacker...registered 38 total tackles, 19 solo, including two for a loss and two sacks...also had three pass deflections...made six tackles, including one for a loss, and broke up a pass in the win over Albany...registered six stops, including three solo and one sack, in the Marist win...had five tackles, two solo, in the Duquesne game...finished with four tackles, including three solo and one sack, against Holy Cross...made four solo stops in the Bucknell game and also had four tackles, three solo, versus Lehigh. 2005: Appeared in all eleven games as a sophomore, both at linebacker and on special teams...finished the year with 27 total tackles, 11 solo, including one sack...made a career-high eight tackles, three solo, including one sack at Lafayette...registered five tackles against Lehigh...made four tackles, two solo, and broke up a pair of passes in the Bucknell win...had three solo tackles in the season-opener at Rhode Island. 2004: Appeared in eight games as a freshman, both at linebacker and on special teams. Before Fordham: A graduate of Oakland Mills High School in Columbia, Maryland...lettered in football, basketball, lacrosse and wrestling in high school...an All-State, All-Metro and All-Howard County pick as a junior and senior at linebacker...recipient of the Jimmy O[apos]Donnell Character Award...attended Oakland Mills for two years...also attended Archbishop Curley High School and Merganthaler Senior High School in Baltimore for a year each...named Archbishop Curley Student-Athlete of the Year...named to Merit Roll in ninth grade and to the Silver Honor Roll in tenth grade...received Senior Rising Scholar Award as a senior.
