Biography

Will serve as a team captain in 2007...returns as a starter at inside linebacker, moving to the position after opening the 2006 season as a starter at free safety...teams with fellow captain Dominique Owens to give the Rams a presence at inside linebacker...started all eleven games last fall...leading returning tackler (second overall)...saw action in the defensive backfield and on special teams last fall...enters camp as the starter at free safety...wrapped up a strong spring with three tackles in the Spring Game...member of the junior varsity in 2004...did not see varsity action in 2004...played in the Outback Bowl in high school. 2006: Started all eleven games for the Rams as a junior, starting five at free safety and six at inside linebacker...second on the squad with 59 total tackles, 37 solo...had three tackles for a loss of ten yards and two sacks for a loss of eight yards...also intercepted two passes and recovered a fumble...made a career-high seven tackles twice, the first coming against Marist and the second versus Lafayette...had five solo stops in the Marist game along with two sacks...had three solo tackles against Lafayette...recorded six tackles, four solo, in the loss to Colgate...also had six stops, four solo, in the Albany win...intercepted a pass against Albany which led to the Rams[apos] touchdown...made six tackles, three solo, against Columbia while also picking off a pass...registered five tackles, two solo, in the season opener with Monmouth...also had five stops, four solo, in the Holy Cross game...made four tackles, three solo, in the Lehigh and Georgetown contests. 2005: Appeared in seven games for the Rams as a sophomore. 2004: Did not see varsity action. Before Fordham: A graduate of Suncoast High School in Riviera Beach, Florida...three-year letter winner with football...named to the 2004 County All-Star Team and played in the Outback Bowl...named Defensive MVP in 2001, 2002 and 2003...served as a team captain as a junior and senior.
