Biography
2007-08: Second Team All-Atlantic 10... Team MVP for second straight season... Went undefeated in singles match play, compiling a perfect 12-0 record at first singles... Teamed with Ellenoira Featherston to go 11-2 at first doubles.
2006-07: Team MVP... Went 12-1 at first singles as a junior... Led team with 12 singles victories... Was a perfect 10-0 at first singles in the spring... Also compiled a 10-2 mark at first doubles with Ellenoira Featherston... Competed at the USTA Women's Open Singles Tournament held at the USTA National Tennis Center for the fourth time, winning her third national silver ball, finishing as the national runner-up... Received the silver ball after finishing as runner-up to Maryland's Eleanor Peters in the finals... Entered the tournament as the third seed, and started play in the round of 32 with a victory over Sharon Siegel from Hampton Bays, NY, 6-2 and 6-0... In the round of 16, matched up with ninth-seeded Sarah Summerfield from McMinnville, Oregon, held strong in this match as she eventually won in a super tie-breaker, 7-5, 5-7 (10-6)... In the quarterfinals, took on unseeded Hannah Berner of Brooklyn... The match again went to a super tie-breaker, before she prevailed in the end, 6-4, 3-6 (10-5)... In the semi-finals, clinched a berth in the final with a 6-4, 4-6 (10-8) win over Katelyn Beard of McLean, Virginia, in her third straight super tie-breaker match.
2005-06: Registered a 14-2 record at first singles during her sophomore campaign... The 14 singles wins led the squad... Was 8-1 in the fall and 6-1 in the spring... Went 11-2 overall at first doubles with Ellenoira Featherston, including a perfect 9-0 in the spring... Got her collegiate career off to a good start, advancing to the round of eight at the ITA Regionals at West Point in the fall of her freshman season... Was a perfect 4-0 in singles play in dual meets and 8-1 overall in singles play during the fall season... Also went 2-2 at first doubles with Ellenoria Featherson.
Before Fordham: Was a five-year member of the varsity tennis team at The Ursuline School... Three-time MVP... Was #1 Singles League Champion her final four season... Was an All-State and All-Section pick... Named to the Gannett Suburban Newspapers All-Star First Team... Took fourth place at the 2004 New York State High School Championships, after finishing in sixth place in 2003... Took second place at the Section I Singles Championship in 2004, after a third place finish in 2003 and three fourth place finishes from 2000-02... Recipient of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Sportsmanship Award for 2004.
