For the Fordham men's soccer team good things came in pairs as in a pair if goals for sophomore
Bruno Cellerino as he led the Rams to a 2-1 Atlantic 10 win over VCU at the VCU Athletic Village.
With the win, Fordham evens its overall record at 4-4-1, 2-0-0 in the Atlantic 10, while VCU falls to 0-7-2 overall, 0-2-0 in the conference.
Cellerino got the visiting Rams on the board in the 17th minute as he collected a loose ball just outside the box on the left, took two dribble to the edge of the box and lofted a high arching shot that the wind helped guide to the far corner.
The score remained at 1-0 until the 68th minute when Cellerino settled the ball from a VCU defender and dribbled into the box where he got off a left-footed blast at beat the VCU keeper to the right side.
The home Rams got one back just about a minute later but Fordham was able to hold on the rest of the way.

• It will be the 25th meeting between the Rams and the Bonnies.
