Volleyball Falls to Georgia Southern on Day Two

Rams open A10 play next weekend at Duquesne

Statesboro, Ga. – The Fordham volleyball squad closed out play at the Georgia Southern Invitational on Saturday, falling to the host school, 3-0, at Hanner Fieldhouse.
 
With the loss, Fordham falls to 6-7 on the season.

• Scores of the sets were 25-6, 25-12, and 25-21.
 
• Freshman Johanna Franzen led the Rams with ten kills, and added eight digs, while freshman Giada Ianuale chipped in with 18 assists and Lola Fernandez finished with 12 digs
 
What's Next?
• The Rams open Atlantic 10 play with a trip to Pittsburgh, Pa., to face the Duquesne University Dukes on Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26.
 
• The Rams and the Dukes will play at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
