BRONY, N.Y. – For the seventh straight match the Fordham women's tennis team blanked its opponent, today the Rams shutout Davison College, 4-0, on the Hawthorn/Rooney Courts.
 
Fordham opened the match taking the doubles point, winning the two completed doubles matches. Paola Dalmonico and Catalina Padilla got it started with a 6-3 win over Keri Rothenberg and Olivia Hooper at third doubles before Valerija Kargina and Lily Chitambar clinched the point with a 6-2 win at second doubles over Charlotte Calderwood and Ellie Hammond.
 
The Rams then won the first three competed singles matches, all in straight sets, for the win. Chitambar picked up the first singles win for Fordham with a 6-2, 6-2, decision over Rothenberg at fifth singles followed by Kargina's 6-4, 6-1 win over Ellie Hammond at the third position. Nevena Kolarevic then clinched the match for Fordham when she defeated Savanna Kollock, 6-2, 6-3, at first singles.
