FAIRFAX, Va. - Kate McGuire went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Fordham University Softball who fell, 5-1 at George Mason in the rubber game of the opening Atlantic 10 series of the year on Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rams (6-11, 1-2) put the first run on the scoreboard, starting the scoring in the third inning. Fordham got on the board thanks to McGuire's RBI double with two outs. George Mason answered with three runs in the bottom of the frame, and scored two more over the remaining four innings to grab the 5-1 win.
