Indianapolis, Ind. – The Fordham men's tennis team started its Midwest trip on Friday with a 5-2 loss to Butler University at Indianapolis Racquet Club Dean Road.
The match opened with the Bulldogs taking the doubles point, winning both completed doubles matches.
The Rams picked up a point at first singles where
Mateusz Gradzki dropped the first set to Riccardo Baldi, 7-6(2), but came back to win the second, 6-4, and the tiebreaker, 10-8.
The other Fordham point came at fourth singles where
Will Lokier defeated Rahulniket Konakanchi, 7-6 (7), 6-3.
