Kingston, R.I.  – With just three games left to play in the 2025-26 regular season, Fordham University women's basketball heads up I-95 for a Battle of the Rams against Rhode Island Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Fordham (10-16, 2-13) is coming off of its bye in the midweek following an 80-67 loss to Duquesne last Saturday at the Rose Hill Gym. Rhode Island (23-3, 14-1) remains atop the league standings but are coming off their first loss since Nov. 26, falling at La Salle 63-59 Wednesday.

The Battle of the Rams goes down for the second time this season, with Rhody taking the initial meeting 61-47 in The Bronx back on Jan. 31. All-time the two teams are dead even at 23-23 heading into what will be the 47th overall meeting between Fordham and Rhode Island on the hardwood. Fordham looks to snap a three game losing streak against Rhody, but still hold a 6-4 record in the last 10 meetings.

Notes

Lakresha Edwards led the Rams last time out with a career-high 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting and 6-of-8 from three point range.

Edwards has scored 10+ points in nine of the last 16 games for the Rams, dating back to Dec. 6 in the non-conference finale at Hofstra. She has led the team in scoring twice over that span, setting new career-high's four times (24) this season.

Carryn Easley has scored in double-figures eight times over the last 12 games since being added to the starting lineup on Jan. 3 against Saint Joseph's, scoring 11 points last time out.

The Maroon and White sit 11th among all Division I teams in the nation, leading the A-10 averaging 15.8 offensive rebounds per game and are 92nd nationally in overall rebounds at 38.96, fourth best in the conference.

The Rams are second in the league and 53rd best of any team in the nation, averaging 23.2 bench points per game.

Fordham also sits 89th in the country in steals per game at 9.6, the third best average in the league, and rank 66th in the country in turnovers forced per game, forcing opponents into 19.12/game, leading in the A-10.
