2025 Fordham Football – The Offensive Line

A look at the 2025 Rams Up Front

Bronx, N.Y. – As we're in the middle of week two of the 2025 Fordham football camp we continue our position-by-position breakdown of the Rams, highlighting the big guys on the front lines, the offensive line.

The Fordham offensive line lost three starters from last year and will a relatively young group this year with just three seniors on the roster. Leading the returnees is senior Duke Leonard, a two-year starter who appeared in eleven games as a junior, making ten starts at left guard.

The other returning starter is junior Owen Duetsch, who saw action in ten games as a sophomore, starting eight at right tackle.

Other returning seniors include Kurt Plakans and Kevin Loughlin, who both missed last season with injuries.

The Ram offensive line returns four juniors: Dylan Haines, who appeared in five games as a sophomore, starting two at center; Colin Van Rooy, who saw action in five games as a sophomore, making one start at left tackle; Colin Gerger, who appeared in the season opener at Bowling Green; and Thomas Cornett, who did not see action as a sophomore.

Sophomore offensive linemen for Fordham include Cooper La Fond, who started the season opener last season before missing the rest of the year due to an injury, and Adam Yevchak, who did not see action last fall.

Newcomers on the offensive line include Wyatt Scarritt, a First Team All-Founders League performer at Avon Old Farms last year; Graham Edwards, a First Team All-Founders League honoree at Choate Rosemary Hall in 2024; Will Smith, an Ontario, Canada, native who earned All-New England accolades at Tabor Academy last fall; Petar Strbac, an All-Conference and All-Area performer at Maine South High School last year, and Leo Rick, a product of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio.

Fordham opens the 2025 season on Saturday, August 30, when the Rams travel to Boston College for a 2:00 p.m. contest. Join your fellow Ram fans in a pregame reception prior to the game.

Season and individual game tickets for the 2025 home season are now on sale through the Fordham Athletic Ticket Office.
