Christian Henry Signs With Fordham

6-foot-3 guard averaged 14.7 points last season at Eastern Michigan

BRONX, N.Y. – Fordham Men's Basketball Head Coach Mike Magpayo has announced the addition of Christian Henry to his roster for the 2025-26 season.

"Christian Henry brings a fearlessness at the guard position," said Magpayo.  "He has trained in the offseason with one of my former players Zyon Pullin of the Memphis Grizzlies, and will excite Rose Hill with his playmaking and shot making. Christian is an extremely efficient player, and does so in the biggest moments."

Henry, a 6-foot-3 guard, arrives at Fordham following a standout junior season at Eastern Michigan, where he averaged 14.7 points over 32 games, all of which were starts.  He shot 43.6% from the floor, including a 37.0% clip from deep on just over five attempts per outing.

In his first year of Division I basketball, Henry reached double figures 26 times and eclipsed the 20-point mark on seven occasions.  He scored a season-high 28 points against Detroit Mercy on Nov. 30, going 9-for-16 from the floor and 4-of-8 from downtown.

Henry paced the Eagles and ranked 10th in the league at 3.4 helpers per game with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.6, good enough for 11th in the MAC.

A Chicago native, Henry spent two seasons at Panola College in Texas, averaging 13.8 points and 3.9 assists per game as a sophomore for a team that went 27-7 and advanced to the second round of the NJCAA Division I Championship.  Henry averaged 7.2 points per outing as a freshman, helping Panola finish 28-5 and reach the championship game of the NJCAA Region XIV Tournament.

Henry completed his high school career at The Skill Factory in Atlanta.
