The Fordham men's soccer program is coming off a wildly successful season, as the Rams secured an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in program history. Playing the nation's seventh-toughest schedule, Fordham earned road results against two NCAA Tournament national seeds, battling Hofstra to a scoreless draw in its season opener before taking down eventual A-10 champion Dayton, 4-2, on Oct. 12
The Rams, who advanced to the semifinals of the A-10 Tournament for the eighth time in the past 11 seasons, were led by Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year
Daniel D'Ippolito. The junior finished the season with 14 goals and seven assists for 35 points, the last of which ranked third nationally. He scored more goals and tallied more points that any Fordham player since John Wolyniec in 1998 and recorded the program's first multiple-hat-trick season since 1982.
