Duraunte Cutts, a former assistant athletic director at the University of Kansas, was named Fordham’s Director of Athletic Development/Associate Athletic Director in February of 2025.
 
Cutts came to the Bronx after two-plus years with the Jayhawks, where he was an assistant athletic director tasked with overseeing the department’s annual fund.  In this capacity, Cutts helped raise more than $20 million annually to aid Kansas’ athletic efforts and saw significant growth in key areas such as donor growth and student memberships.  Cutts managed communication and solicitation strategy in this capacity in addition to playing vital roles in Ad Astra, the department’s leadership-giving society, and K-Club, the Jayhawks’ former student-athlete engagement society.  
 
Prior to his time in Lawrence, Cutts spent more than three years at UNLV, beginning as Senior Director of Development for Major Gifts before being elevated to Associate Director of Athletics.
 
Before his tenure in Las Vegas, Cutts spent several years in the Sunshine State, serving as Jacksonville University’s Assistant Athletic Director for Development & Corporate Partnerships after three years at Florida State in the areas of donor relations and sales.
 
Before beginning in Tallahassee, Cutts worked in sales capacities with both the Houston Astros and D.C. United.
 
Cutts got his start at his alma mater, Valdosta State, serving as the department’s Assistant Director of Ticketing and Game Operations.
