NEW YORK  – Returning home to The Bronx, Fordham University women's basketball hosts George Mason Saturday afternoon at the Rose Hill Gym.

Rams at a Glance

  • Fordham (12-10, 6-5 A-10) looks to snap a three-game losing streak, following a 6-2 start to league play, most recently falling to 

  • The current slide marks just the second time this season the Rams have lost consecutive games, tied for the longest winless stretch this season.

  • Saturday's return to the Rose Hill Gym against George Mason will be the first home game for the Rams since Jan. 25.

  • The Rams have limited four of their last five opponents to under 60 points, and have held 13 teams this season to 59 points or less.

  • Taylor Donaldson leads the Rams and sits amongst the top-100 players in the nation in a plethora of statistical categories, including points per game (77th), steals per game (86th), and three pointers made per game (21st)

  • Pacing the offense and ranked second in the A-10 at an even 17.0 points per game, Donaldson enters the weekend third in the conference averaging 2.7 three pointers made per game, and second in the A-10 in steals per game at 2.25.

  • Irene Murua leads the team and sits fourth in the league in field goal percentage, shooting 56.5% from the field this season.

  • Murua also tops the Rams rebounding numbers with 6.1 per contest, placing her 12th best in the conference, while also averaging 3.3 on the offensive end.

  • Taya Davis leads the team, sitting tied for second in the A-10 and 77th in the nation at 4.4 assists per game.

  • Chaé Harris has been consistent whether in the starting five or coming off the bench, making 15 starts while averaging 8.4 points per game, 2.5 rebounds per game, 1.5 assists per game, and 1.2 steals per game.

Matchup History

  • Fordham holds an 11-5 record against George Mason all time, though the Patriots have claimed the last two matchups, most recently in Virginia last season, 54-47.

  • Taylor Donaldson tallied 24 points in that game including five makes from three point range, along with six rebounds and three steals.

Last Time Out

  • Despite erasing another double digit deficit Tuesday, the Rams were outlasted at George Washington, 69-59, after putting together a 14-0 run in the fourth quarter, this time bringing themselves within six at 56-50. 

  • The Maroon and White drained five straight buckets, including four in a row from three-point range in a span of exactly 2:30, finding themselves right back in the game with 4:40 to play. 

  • Irene Murua and Taylor Donaldson combined for 44 of the Rams' 59 points on the night, with Murua leading the way with 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting.

  • Donaldson tallied 21 points including seven makes on nine attempts from the free throw line, along with seven rebounds.

  • Karissa Antoine led the rebounding effort with nine boards, followed by Kaila Berry with eight along with a pair of steals.

  • The Maroon and White head back out on the road, heading down to Philadelphia for the first of two meetings with La Salle this month, Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.x
