Philadelphia, Pa. – The Fordham men's tennis squad ventured south on Friday afternoon for a match at the 30th-ranked University of Pennsylvania where the Rams fell to the Quakers, 4-0, at the Hecht Tennis Center.
 
The match opened with Penn taking the doubles point, winning both completed doubles matches. Penn's Manfredi Graziani and Shaurya Bharadwaj defeated Fordham's Nicolas Garnier and Ruben Russwurm at third doubles, 6-1, and then Tal Goodman and Parashar Bharadwaj upended Filip Horak and Philipp Uhde at the third position, 6-4. Fordham's Dhillon Virdee-Oakley and Dhananjay Athreya were tied with Penn's Sanjeev Chundu and Aaron Sandler, 5-5, when the match was halted.
 
The Quakers then won the first three completed singles matches, all in straight sets, for the 4-0 win.
