Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham men's basketball squad will travel north of the border on Thanksgiving day and play three times in Montreal at the Place Bell Arena.
All games will be streamed by
GSMedia with one-day or three day-pass options. Games will also be carried by WFUV. Saturday and Sunday games will be broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) as well as on the
WFUVSports YouTube page. Friday's game will only be streamed on the
WFUVSports YouTube page.
The Rams get the trip started with a game against Franklin Pierce on Friday, November 28, at 5:00 p.m. It will be the first meeting between Fordham and the Ravens.
Fordham then begins play at the 2025 Northern Classic on Saturday, November 29, as they face the UAlbany Great Danes at 7:30 p.m. It will be the second meeting between UAlbany and Fordham on the hardwood with the Rams defeating the Great Danes, 40-17, in 1923 in a game that was actually played against the UAlbany Law School. Captain Ed. McMahon had a field day, scoring nine goals from the floor and four out of six tries from the foul line. The game was cleanly played as is indicated by the fact that there were only twelve fouls called on both teams.
The Rams then close out the classic by facing the Colgate University Raiders on Sunday, November 30, at 3:30 p.m. It will be the 32
nd meeting between the Rams and the Raiders on the hardwood, the first since 2015, with Fordham holding a 21-10 advantage in the all-time series. Fordham and Colgate were members of the Patriot League from 1990-1995.
